KARDS features several iconic World War II nations including Britain, USA, the Soviet Union, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, and Poland. Each nation is attributed with unique characteristics and strategies that reflect their historical roles during this global conflict.

For example, Britain's mastery of both the skies and oceans is well represented in KARDS. Despite being initially caught off guard by the outbreak of the war, they quickly adapted to new forms of warfare with their formidable fleet and advanced aircraft. The British forces are exemplified by their incredible perseverance and unwavering fighting spirit.

The United States is depicted as a force to be reckoned with in terms of production capacity and sheer firepower. Although they joined the war at a later stage than other major powers, their extensive preparation and support for their allies allowed them to outproduce their Axis enemies. Ultimately, the Americans unleashed offensive operations on an unprecedented scale across all theaters of war.

The Soviet Union, portrayed as the mighty Red Army, started the war ill-equipped, undertrained, and disorganized. However, through the trials of the Great Patriotic War, they transformed into the most formidable war machine the world had ever seen.

The Japanese Imperial Army and Navy are portrayed as an underestimated force that swept across South-Asia and the Pacific in a lightning-fast rampage of their own. Armed with complete air superiority and fearsome naval power, including the largest battleships ever constructed, Japan posed a significant threat to the Allied forces.

Germany is known for its pioneer status in Blitzkrieg tactics, where they rapidly crushed their enemies with their well-orchestrated armored units and mechanized formations. Preferring a battle of annihilation, the German Wehrmacht excelled on the offensive front. Although lacking in naval resources compared to their counterparts, German submarine wolf packs prowled the depths of the oceans, striking fear into their enemies.

France, widely regarded before the war as possessing Europe's most potent military, was unprepared for the devastating German Blitzkrieg. However, despite being defeated, the Free French Forces carried on their fight against the Axis powers on foreign soil. Meanwhile, the French Resistance valiantly disrupted and demoralized German occupation forces within their homeland.

Italy sought to seize an opportunity at the start of World War II by expecting the imminent collapse of the British Empire from German offensives. With aspirations to restore Italy to its former Roman Empire glory, Italian forces concentrated major offensives in Africa and the Middle East. Although not initially ready for a prolonged conflict, Italy displayed determination in its military endeavors.

Lastly, Poland played a crucial role in intelligence gathering and code-breaking during WW2. Despite being exiled during the war, Polish forces fought gallantly alongside their allies in campaigns such as the Battle of Britain and made significant contributions to Europe's liberation.
